In cooperation with the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Ticino, the Philippine Embassy in Berne will be undertaking two activities in Lugano, Ticino: Consular Outreach Services for the Filipino Community and, in conjunction to this activities, a Presentation by the Philippine Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein on Philippine Development Updates. The Philippine Consulate in Ticino is looking for people who are interested in contributing at the creation of cultural and educational programs in Ticino. The fields in which we want to operate are several: from integration projects, as Italian and Tagalog lessons, to the organization of cultural activities and evenings about the Philippines. The Consul Anna Margherita Maffeis-Natale is glad to receive your proposal. 

The association “Comunità Filippina in Ticino” arise from the collaboration with various madams and sirs, after the establishment in Lugano of the Philippine Consulate in the Ticino.

It derives from the wish of every member of the community and of the new Consul Anna Margherita Maffeis-Natale of spreading in our Canton the Filipino culture and all the peculiarities that characterize this wonderful nation.

Persons who show great love for their origins compose the Filipino Community. They are pushed by the willingness of raising awareness of their traditions through parties, art, food, and much more. Every person, who will come into contact with this community, will find persons that are always smiling, ready to help others and moved by lot of passion.
